I have spent 20+ years living and learning around the world—in places where languages, cultures, and ways of thinking intersect in meaningful ways, where diversity is celebrated, and local ways of life shape our individuality and sense of self. Learning is not simply delivering content. Learning is about igniting wonder and inspiring exploration. It sparks joy. And great learning cultivates thinking that invites us to question, metacognize, and deepen our understanding of the world we live in.

At the heart of my work is the belief that learning should motivate and empower the individual. Whether working with young learners in the classroom or collaborating with international colleagues, I’ve discovered that the most powerful learning happens when we are curious, challenged to think deeply, and supported in seeing ourselves as competent and agentic

My design process begins with empathy—understanding the learner’s needs, context, and goals. I apply learner-centered frameworks that promote conceptual understanding, inquiry, critical and creative thinking, and inclusive as well as accessible experiences. Whether it’s a live online session or a self-paced course, my goal is to create spaces where thinking is visible, curiosity is honored, and learning feels personal and engaging.
